doTERRA Diffuser Info: Ace vs. Lotus

One of my favorite products from doTERRA is my diffuser! With cold & flu season upon us this is a must!  I have been diffusing On Guard in the morning before school to arm my kids for school and then again after school to kill all the stuff they brought home.  I have also diffused Breathe for my little girl at night to help her runny nose.  Love diffusing the oils!!  I have put some information together about the 2 diffusers available from doTERRA and some of the oils that we like to diffuse.  Enjoy!

Tiffany’s Input: LOVE this diffuser! I especially like the ability to control the intensity of the oil being diffused as well as being able to adjust time on and time off. You can let it run all day without having to do anything. For businesses I would recommend getting a Christmas tree timer so that it diffuses just during business hours. It may not be pretty, but it is very functional.

Tiffany’s Input: I really like the look of this one. When it is on it has this pretty glow and mist flowing out. To run this diffuser you add water into the inside and add a couple of drops of essential oils. The Lotus has 2 settings: run for 1 hour or on for 30 seconds then off for 15 seconds. It must be maintained throughout the day. I have had problems with the mist causing water to leak out and puddle. Bummer. Put it on a pretty dish and no problems.

LIME: Excellent disinfectant, which will not only effectively kill bacteria but it is a natural antiseptic. Lime, like other citrus oils, is effective for calming & stress relief. LEMON: Lemon oil is radiant, uplifting, reviving, and stimulating. CITRUS BLISS: Blend of Wild orange, lemon, grapefruit mandarin, bergamot, tangerine, clementine, and vanilla bean extract.   1. I have the aroma-ace diffuser.
    When it came, it came with a little bottle attached. Am I supposed to put oil in that and use that little bottle, or just open my oils and use them? Do I need to clean the little white tube between oils?

  2. The Ace does come with an extra bottle. You can use that bottle and add oil to it or make your own blends or you can just add a bottle of your doTERRA oil right onto the Ace. I would recommend cleaning the tube when switching oils. You can also buy extra side pieces so that you won't need to wash off the white tube. I have one for my citrus oils and one for On Guard. I love my lotus to mix it up with different oils blended together.
